Alan J. Gordee
Alan J. Gordee specializes in business litigation, both at the trial and appellate level, with extensive experience in the areas of business torts, and related contract and commercial litigation, professional liability litigation, unfair competition and trade secret litigation, employment litigation, and real estate litigation. Mr. Gordee has practiced for 30 years in Orange County. He has tried numerous business disputes in both state and federal courts and he has arbitrated and mediated cases in numerous venues throughout California and the country. Mr. Gordee graduated in 1987 with honors from Boston University School of Law where he was a G. Joseph Tauro Scholar and a Paul Liacos Scholar. Mr. Gordee was also an associate editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. Mr. Gordee’s undergraduate studies were at Yale University, from which he graduated in 1983.
Formerly with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, Mr. Gordee has represented banks, manufacturing, engineering, restaurant, and technology companies, medical and legal partnerships and other partnerships and joint ventures, commercial landlords and high-worth individuals in complex business litigation, including professional liability lawsuits, trade secret and unfair competition litigation, and partnership and shareholder disputes, in both state and federal courts and in arbitration forums. Mr. Gordee was admitted to practice in all courts in California in 1987. Mr. Gordee is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
